Company Background

I founded Senior Assist in 2007 after spending seven years volunteering in multiple ways within my local community and children’s schools.  In 2001, I retired as an Information Technology Executive; who after 25 years in the industry developed many management, people & organizational skills.   Even though I loved my career, my children were the reason I chose to stay closer to home. 

During the last seven years I have had the opportunity to work with seniors & their families closely, in a variety of ways, and saw the need for a low cost management/organizational service where seniors didn’t have to leave their homes and where families can call on support when needed.

As we all age, there are natural frustrations with memory loss, physical limitations, and the increased stress that comes due to health related issues.  Theses stresses are common with the person affected, but also greatly affect the family unit.

My hope is that Senior Assist can fill in when the family caregivers’ schedules do not allow them to meet the demands of caring for their loved ones.
